This scheme was specifically designed for FNPF members who exercise the pension option when:
- You reach 55 years
- You are the sole nominee of the deceased member
- You qualify for withdrawal under medical grounds, i.e 100% incapacity and approval from FNPF medical board
- Excess contributions
- Contributions received after date of entitlement
- Housing repayments to member’s account after member’s 50th birthday
- Special Death Benefit
- Company Directors and/or those holding more than 20% shares in a Company
REMINDER TO MEMBERS
Once a member opts for pension he or she has to complete the renewal certificate every six months. Overseas pensioners has to complete the renewal every three months
- The renewal forms to be certified either on the due date or later, any form received before due date will be queried
- Pensioners must use the same signature according to FNPF records, if any changes pensioners have to fill a pension registration form in order to update FNPF records
- Pensioners who cannot sign due to medical reasons must bring in a latest medical report from their doctor.
- Pensioners should give correct mode of payment for EFT, Postal with their correct addresses.
- Renewal forms to be certified by the authorized officers only as stated below:
1) Justice of Peace
2) Commissioner for Oaths
3) District Officers
4) Minister of Religion
5) Bank Manager
6) Medical Practitioner
7) Officer or Board member of FNPF authorized for the purpose by the General Manager

Processing Time:
- Electronic Fund Transfer (Eft) payments are processed normally on Tuesdays and Thursdays where as orders are processed either twice a week or three times a week.
- Drafts are normally sent after day’s receivable from the Westpac.
- Missing orders or draft- member has to put a request stating which he/she lost the orders or draft. Once we get the request we send a stop payment and wait for banks confirmation. Replacement cheques are normally processed after 1 month from the day request is received.
