- The Certifying Officer is not listed on the renewal certificate
- The Certifying Officer has not put his/her rubber stamp
- The renewal certificate has been signed before the due date
- The pensioner’s signature is wrong
- The pensioner has not provided his/her thumbprint
- The Bank Account supplied by the pensioner has been closed or invalid
- The Pensioner’s FNPF number or Pension number is not supplied
⇒ Pensioners residing overseas have to complete the renewal certificate every three months and will receive payments three months in arrears
⇒ Pensioners must use the same signature according to FNPF records, if any changes pensioners have to fill a Pension Option Form in order to update FNPF records.
⇒ Pensioners who are physically unable to sign due to medical reasons have to provide us the latest medical report from doctor and can request for a visit by FNPF officers.
⇒ Pensioners should give correct mode of payment directly to the Bank, or Postal. Pensioners can request to amend their postal addresses if they relocate to another physical address in order to receive their Renewal Certificate.
⇒ All pension renewal certificates must bear the rubber stamp of the certifying officers listed below:
Processing Time:1. Justice of Peace
2. Commissioner of Oaths
3. District Officers
4. Minster of Religion
5. Bank Manager
6. Medical Practitioner
7. Officer or Board member of FNPF authorized for the purpose by the General Manager
⇒ The Processing time for (EFT) pension payments directly deposited to your Bank account is 3 working days on receipt of renewal certificate without any query.
⇒ The Processing time for pension orders, cheques and dispatching bankdrafts and telegraphic transfers to overseas pensioners is 5 working days on receipt of the renewal certificate without any query.
⇒ Lost, misplaced or destroyed pension orders should be reported in writing to FNPF immediately and will be replaced 6 weeks after notification is received. A stop payment is sent to the Bank and upon Bank confirmation, replacement cheque is processed.
