Option 2: Full Joint Pension
If a member opted for a joint with his spouse the annuity will be calculated as follows:
The joint pension rate for year 2008 is 11 %(ref to table) therefore the calculation result is
• 11% of $40000 = $4400 per annum
$366.67 per month
In this option if the member pass away, his spouse would continue to receive the same amount of pension till the end of his or her life.
