A nomination is a simple but very important document. The FNPF encourages members to nominate their loved ones to be the beneficiaries of their FNPF savings in the unfortunate event of death. A valid nomination speeds the release of a member's FNPF savings to his/her loved ones. In absence of a valid nomination, the member's contribution is paid to the courts where payment to the beneficiaries is usually slower. Nominees under the age of 15 are considered minors, and their portion of the contribution is paid to the Public Trustee for distribution to the nominee.
