The education scheme is to assist in the payment of school fees. The assistance is confined to the children of the member in Form 7 and those in tertiary institutions, where the parent (member) is unable to meet the expense due to financial hardship. The amount the member is eligible to withdraw is 1/4 of the simulated balance (less other withdrawal funds). Assistance for other types of education is subject to board approved guidelines.
