Unidentified Contributions

The Unidentified contributions are payments made by employers (on their employees behalf); but remain unidentified with FNPF.

Notable reasons for Unidentified contributions are:

  • The name or FNPF number provided do not match FNPF records
  • Use of initials and nick names on the monthly Contribution Schedules
While employees whose FNPF numbers and names are correctly quoted on the monthly Contribution Schedules are being updated; contributions for employees who are affected by the above reasons are transferred to the Unidentified Account until such time we are able to determine their correct FNPF account number.

Although it is the employers’ obligation to register their workers, we encourage that employees also take a proactive role in ensuring that they are registered with FNPF.  If you are registered, please ensure that your name and FNPF number on your employment records matches those on your birth certificate and FNPF card.  This is to enable FNPF to update your accounts in a timely manner.
