Self-employed

SECURING YOUR FUTURE
The most common type of member is a wage-earning worker who is employed by an employer under the provisions of the FNPF Act 219. This includes expatriate employees, and directors who hold 20% shares or less in a company. About 99% of the members are from this category.

The second type of member is the voluntary member. Membership is voluntary and not compulsory as that of a wage earner, and covers mainly people who are self-employed and pay for their own contributions.
