07 April 2005
The Fiji National Provident Fund will host a Tonga delegation headed by Prime Minister, His Royal Highness, Prince ‘Ulukalala Lavaka Ata on Friday 08 April 2005.
“Prince ‘Ulukalala is visiting in his capacity as Chairman of the Retirement Fund Board of Tonga and is here to discuss investment strategies, the composition and regulatory framework for the FNPF”, said Chief Executive Officer and General Manager, Olota Rokovunisei.
The Fund, like the FNPF, provides financial security for its members. The Retirement Fund Board is the trustee of its members’ savings. The Board’s objectives are designed to maximize returns on members’ funds with minimal risk.
Prince ‘Ulukalala’s delegation includes the Kingdom’s Minister for Finance, Attorney-general and Minister for Justice and the Board’s Chief Executive, Dr S Leimoni Taufu’i.
