The IHG annual awards brought together over 300 of the AMEA region’s general managers and corporate leaders.
“To be recognised by our peers in such a way is an honour and testament to the dedication, hard work and support of InterContinental Fiji’s employees and stakeholders,” Mr Williams said.
He credits the resort’s many award wins and ongoing success to the close working relationship and investment from the resort owner, Fiji National Provident Fund, an organisation that recognises and supports local Fijian hotels that are seen as an asset to the Fijian people.
FNPF CEO Mr Aisake Taito commended IHG and Mr Williams for the awards.
“We are thankful to IHG for continuing to managing this important asset for the Fund and its members. We are confident that Natadola would continue to be one of the leading hotels in Fiji and in the region,” Mr Taito said.
Held in Singapore, the IHG Leader’s Meeting serves as a celebration of the AMEA’s top performers and an opportunity to develop future strategy for the Group’s presence and growth in the region.
IHG is the world’s largest hotel group with more than 4,400 hotels in 100 countries and territories around the world.
