The Fiji National Provident Fund Group donated $40,000 towards the Prime Minister’s relief fund which has been set up to support victims of the recent flash floods.
FNPF subsidiaries that contributed towards this donation were Holiday Inn ($5000) and InterContinental Hotel Resort & Spa in Natadola ($10,000). The Fiji National Provident Fund (FNPF) is urging all current pensioners to validate and undergo counselling to discuss their options under the new pension scheme before 29 February, 2012.
The Fund’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Mr. Aisake Taito, said validation is extremely crucial as it will determine pension payments under the new scheme. The process requires the pensioner to verify his details and present vital documents such as the birth certificates.
